Congrats Mariners on your Victory last night!
The Lady mariners won states yesterday! Congrats to all.
Lacey Township High School North's story begins in 1860, when a one-room schoolhouse was built. This is now the Schoolhouse Museum on Route 9. By 1950, increasing enrollments at the old schoolhouses led to use of the Community Hall for some classes, and plans were made for a new Lacey Township School District.
In 1952, the Lacey Township School District opened on Lacey Road. Ms. Laila London was the first Principal, followed by Mr. Ernest Albert. As more families moved to Lacey Township, the old schoolhouse had to be reopened temporarily as the first addition was made to the school in 1957.
Although our school has a long history, it is also right in step with the innovative instructional technology of today. In addition to wired internet connectivity, the entire building has wireless (wifi) accessibility to support our 1:1 initiative. Our sixtieth anniversary celebration provided us the opportunity to celebrate our rich history while setting our course for the next sixty years!
The Lady mariners won states yesterday! Congrats to all.
The Lacey Twp. FoodBank needs help! We are joining together as a community to help fight hunger by running a food drive to collect nonperishable foods that a fleet of trucks will pick up and deliver to soup kitchens, food pantries and other community food programs across the city. We ask that you send in one nonperishable food item with your child next Tuesday.

High School North's One-to-One program ensures each student has access to technology. Still in the early phases of implementation, the program has seen great success among students and staff. In fall 2015, High School North provided the opportunity for all students attending HSN to choose a District-issued or a Lease-to-Own device. At this time, requests for changes from District-issued to Lease-to-Own are being processed for the Class of 2017 and the Class of 2018. We are unable to accommodate Class of 2016 requests, as we have already transferred ownership on all available devices.
Students in the Class of 2018 will receive a District-issued Chromebook. Students will be issued a laptop for both in and out of the classroom activities and assignments to be utilized throughout their high school career. There will be options available to students interested in purchasing the District-issued computer at the time of graduation.
