Professional Bio
Ms. Janice Day has been involved in education for nearly 20 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Telecommunications and a Business Minor from Rider University. She later pursued further studies in the Education Program at Rider University and received her standard teaching certificate. Ms. Day earned her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Rutgers University.
Ms. Day taught sixth grade at Jefferson Middle School in Toms River, NJ. She subsequently became the assistant principal after six years of service. During her tenure at the School, the school was awarded a numerous accolades for creating a positive school climate. Her most recent position in administration was with the Century City School in Lacey Township, NJ where she held the position of principal for 7 years.
Ms. Day believes that all children can learn but each learns in a different way and at different rates. She believes that with hard work and perseverance we can touch each child in a special way. She feels that teamwork is the ultimate way a school can be successful in reaching the goal of helping a child attain his or her full potential. She gets to know every student and every student gets to know him. She is looking forward to continuing his career here at the Conforti High School!
